About ITI Emergency Response Team
501(c)(3) NONPROFIT • MARYLAND • ALL-VOLUNTEER
Our mission
The ITI Emergency Response Team is an all-volunteer, Maryland-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing on-demand emergency communications, incident management support, and disaster response to qualified public-safety agencies and the communities they serve — at no cost. We deploy only by request, under written Mutual Aid Agreements and following state and federal guidance.
Who we are
We are a group of off-duty first responders, communications specialists, and everyday citizens united by a common desire to make a difference in our community when it’s needed most. ITI ERT is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit based in Maryland, staffed entirely by volunteers.
What we do
How we operate
- By request only. We activate solely when an authorized agency calls for support — never self-deploy.
- Under the Agency Having Jurisdiction. We work within the incident command of the AHJ at all times.
- Mutual Aid governed. Support is provided under written Mutual Aid Agreements, following state and federal guidance.
- Fully insured.
